Information about your luggage

Bergen and Kirkenes: deliver your luggage at the check-in, and it will be transported to the cabin.  In Bergen you can check in your luggage from 15:00 and boarding starts at 16:00. In Kirkenes you can check in and board at 09:00.

Other ports: you must carry your own luggage on board and to the cabin. If you have trouble you can ask the crew for help. Here you can check in as soon as the ship arrives.

There is no limit on the amount of luggage you can bring, as long as it’s manageable for you to carry and kept within reasonable quantities.

Knives and other weapons are prohibited and will be seized. The same holds true with other dangerous goods.

Not all terminals offer luggage storage options. In Bergen, luggage lockers are available at both the terminal and the train station, with the terminal opening at 11 AM. In Ålesund, the terminal does not have luggage lockers. In Trondheim, the nearest luggage storage is at the train station, approximately a 15-minute walk from the terminal. In Svolvær, you can inquire at Thon Hotel Svolvær, located near the terminal, as they may be able to store your luggage for a few hours for a fee. In Tromsø, luggage lockers are available in the terminal, which opens at 6:30 AM.

Payment for the luggage lockers can be made using a credit card.
