When can I see the northern lights?

If the weather conditions are clear and there is sufficient darkness, you can enjoy the northern light along the entire coastal voyage in Norway. Sightings are most frequent in the northern regions.

The northern light can be visible throughout the winter season from October to March. 

When the northern light appear, passengers are informed so they can enjoy the spectacular view. If desired, you can enable Northern Lights Alerts on your cabin phone to receive notifications during the night. To activate the Northern Lights Alert system in your cabin, simply press the "Nor Lights" button on the phone. Alternatively, you can dial *10. When the Northern light alert is triggered, the display will illuminate.
