Can I cancel my trip due to extraordinary circumstances?

Yes. If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at or near the destination(s) included in your package travel before your trip begins, you may cancel your booking and receive a full refund without any cancellation fee. This does not apply to separate travel arrangements you have booked independently, such as flights to or from the departure port.

Such circumstances may include acts of war, natural disasters, serious infectious diseases, epidemics, pandemics, or similar events that may make it unsafe to travel.

Havila Voyages’ liability is limited to a refund of the cost of the trip only.

This right does not apply if you were aware, or reasonably should have been aware, of the circumstances at the time of booking.
